Due to conflicting results between calcium and weight loss in different studies, it is expected that there might be more research on this subject later.Different researchers that worked on this topic and have found some missing links between calcium and weight loss theorize that nutritive calcium might help and play a vital role in the breakdown and storage of fat. Furthermore, the weight loss that has sometimes been noticed in few people who eat dairy products may have something to do with specific dairy proteins and magnesium, another important mineral abundant in dairy products. But so far, these hypotheses are unproven.
